Torogoz is the national bird of El Salvador, which is also where the Chef and Owner, Julio Peraza was born. He was raised in California and worked in several restaurants in Ecuador and Colombia. After moving to Pittsburgh, he was ready to realize his vision for a restaurant specializing in a mix of modern and traditional Central and South American cuisine. Working closely with dsjDESIGN, we brought this spirit to life through lighting and the use of rich colors and materials to create a cozy, modern, and upscale design that blends contemporary sophistication with the welcoming warmth of Latin culture.
