Ryan Jacobs

Ryan is a Graduate Architect who earned his Master’s of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), where he received the coveted “Crystal” Award for an Outstanding Thesis for his Master’s Thesis, and was recognized as the “Outstanding Master’s Student of the Year”. Prior to attending Virginia Tech, Ryan earned his Bachelor of Art degree in Art History at The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) where he double minored in Architecture History and Architectural Studies.

Ryan’s love of architecture began at a young age while watching his father design homes for families in Elk County, Pennsylvania. Outside of work and studying for his architectural licensure exams, Ryan enjoys the outdoors, visiting breweries, attending concerts, and spending time with his partner and their dog, Stevie.

“I enjoy working at Margittai Architects because it allows me to explore my love for Architecture and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Plus, there’s the excitement of feeling like I’m drafting in Architecture school again all while cute dogs roam the office and ask for belly rubs. What else could you ask for?!”
